Senate and House of Representatives Endorsements:

These are the candidates I am endorsing in the 2026 primary for the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. Each endorsement includes a brief explanation, a photo of the candidate, and the position they are running for. You can find more details by clicking on the photo above the candidate’s name. If you have any questions, please reach out using the message form on our home page.

Juliana Stratton

for Senate

Lt. Governor Stratton is not the most progressive candidate, and she is not my first choice. However, she has a stronger opportunity of defeating Raja Krishnamoorthi, who leads in the polls.

Raja has accepted money from ICE contractors, MAGA‑aligned billionaires, AIPAC board members, and Project 2025 architects.

Juliana has made clear her commitment to stopping Trump, ICE, and the authoritarian regime taking shape in Washington.

Stratton is endorsed.

Robert Peters

for IL-2

State Senator Peters serves as a majority whip in the Illinois State Senate.

He has collaborated with United States Senator Bernie Sanders and has received an endorsement from Sanders.

Peters supports healthcare for all, an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people, and banning ICE.

His record reflects a commitment to progressive change, accountability, and meeting this political moment with clarity and purpose.

Peters is endorsed.

Delia Ramirez

for IL-3

Congresswoman Ramirez has proven herself to be an effective progressive member of Congress.

As the first and only Latina congresswoman from the Midwest, she has fought for immigrant communities, Medicare for All, fair access to voting, LGBTQ+ rights, limiting federal overreach, and much more.

She is not afraid to fight fire with fire, and she has met the moment with the courage and determination it demands.

Ramirez is endorsed.

Joey Ruzevich

for IL-06

This district was flipped from Republican to Democratic control by the current incumbent, Sean Casten, in 2018.

In 2018, Sean was the right fit for IL‑06. Now, however, many observers argue that he has become closely aligned with AIPAC.

Joey’s platform centers on breaking up monopolies, dissolving ICE, and passing the Block the Bombs Act. IL‑06 has one of the largest Palestinian‑American populations of all congressional districts in the United States.

Ruzevich is endorsed.

Kat Abughazaleh

for IL-09

Kat Abughazaleh has built her career on exposing corruption, challenging disinformation, and uplifting marginalized voices. She has consistently pushed for a government that serves people rather than special interests.

Her platform reflects a commitment to economic justice, civil rights, and a foreign policy rooted in human dignity. Kat understands the stakes of this moment and brings the clarity and courage needed to meet it.

Abughazaleh is endorsed.
